From my earliest days, life stripped away the standard safety nets, offering me an early masterclass in survival and self-reliance. In 2001, when I was just nine months old, I lost my father to a tragic car accident. I was raised entirely by a resilient single mother who, despite navigating life with very limited resources, demonstrated a relentless work ethic every single day.
Her consistency became my blueprint. She showed me that when the world does not hand you a perfect path, you put your head down and build your own.
2010 · LHON diagnosis
Just as I was finding my footing as a young boy, another unexpected shift arrived. At ten years old, I was diagnosed with Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), a rare genetic condition that suddenly took away a major portion of my eyesight. Going through significant vision loss at such a pivotal age could have easily been a permanent roadblock. Instead, it forced me to adapt, to see the world through a lens of absolute clarity, and to rely on sharp mental discipline. It taught me very quickly that waiting for perfect conditions is a loser's game — you have to execute right where you stand, using whatever tools you have.
